Thanks to everyone for your continued support of The Other Side of Yore! We had a slight delay getting the finished book to the printer because I mis-aligned our original cover and it had to be revised. Now I’m glad to say that the the book is now available on Booklocker.com, amazon.com, and a slew of other retail and online stores!
I’m happy to say that the “Game” issue of Richmond Hill Reflections Magazine was released last week and the editor and photographers did a great job with my stories, “Fair Xchange” and “Bryan County or Hazzard County.” I wrote a little about each of them in previous blogs, and you can get a free copy of Richmond Hill Reflections by clicking here: http://www.rhlandandrealty.com/Reflections/
I’ll be writing three articles for the next “Green” issue. One is about CCA GA which is a non-profit conservation organization which protects our coastline and has saved our waterways and prevented the extinction of many marine species since the 70s. Another of the articles is a profile of several businesses in the Richmond Hill area which are making efforts to promote environmentally sound practices. The last article is the most fascinating; I can’t tell you much about it just yet, but I’ll drop this teaser………some scientist have created life from carbon in the form of a bug, and a local figure is on a board with some really big names that is deciding what exactly to do with this new technology.
I’m currently talking with the local stores Barnes and Noble (Savannah), E. Shaver (Savannah), Richmond Hill Pharmacy, Ella’s Consignments (Richmond Hill), and The Richmond Hill Historical Society about having ”The Other Side of Yore” available on their shelves, and the names of those stores who make orders next week will be listed in my next blog and next ad in Reflections. There will also be some book signings and readings in the very near future, and all dates will be posted once finalized.
I hope everyone is doing well and I hope you enjoy the book!
Next blog will feature an original Frawg cartoon by the illustrious illustrator, Kenny Savage!
Thanks again!
