On Yore Side

Howdy folks! I just thought of a great new contest and I bet you’ll find it fun! We’re in the process of laying out the full-color hardback edition of “The Other Side Side of Yore” so that it will be ready for publication by next year’s 2008: Year of the Frog Campaign sponsored by AmphibianArk.org. Kenny and I discussed it, and now I’m happy to be asking all of you guys out there, “How much fun would it be be to have a picture that YOU yourself colored in the hardback edition of “The Other Side of Yore?”

 Yep, we’ve decided to let YOU color one of the many illustrations you’ll find at www.TheOtherSideOfYore.com to be judged by Kenny Savage and myself in yet ANOTHER contest!

 Just go to the website, print out any of the illustrations you like, and color, paint, speckle, and embellish the drawing until you think it looks cool. Then send it to

Once we’ve gotten enough pictures to choose from, we’ll announce the winners right here on this blog and mail the winner and runners up a free copy of the book. The grand prize winner will have his artwork featured in the color edition, and will also get bonus “Yore” merchandise to top off the deal!
