What’s Next for The Other Side of Yore?
There’s been a bit of confusion between the release dates of “The Other Side of Yore” large print edition and “Songs from The Other Side of Yore” album and “The Other Side of Yore” color hardback edition.
I guess it’s about time I clarified;
The large print edition is available now, and was released on January 27th 2007. It has 13 detailed pen and ink drawings by the hugely talented kenny Savage, and we are currently running a promotion that gives you a FREE pre-order of the upcoming CD when you purchase it. Just save your purchase receipt or invoice and email frawg@theothersideofyore with “Music Pre-Order” in your title to get credit!

“Songs from The Other Side of Yore” is currently in production, and is tentatively scheduled to be released in November of 2007. It will be available as a digital download or CD (a small shipping fee applies for this option), and those with pre-order credit will get theirs shortly before the official release. Once the album is live, the promotional pre-order credit will be taken off of the Large Print Edition of “The Other Side of Yore” and the CD will retail for around $10 or $14. The songs will include the songs that the characters of “The Other Side of Yore” sing within the pages of the book, as well as bonus songs as performed by Frawg and his Swampside Band!
In early 2008, a full color hardback version of “The Other Side of Yore” will be released. Not only will the illustrations that you see in the current version be colored and resized, but at least seven brand NEW pictures will be included in the book! The hardback version will include a copy of the CD in a slip-in pocket. There will also be a forward and some other surprises inside of the book, and it will be a big part of Amphibian Ark’s “2008: Year of the Frog” campaign to raise awareness about and obtain funds for the study and combat of amphibian decline.
Although you may be thinking that you should wait until the color version is released before you act, now is the perfect time to take your journey with “The Other Side of Yore!” Who wants to wait a year to read a story that you are interested in NOW?
Those who buy the current large print paperback addition will not only get the album long before anyone else, but will be put on a special mailing list to receive prizes, promotions, sneak peaks and BIG discounts and early bird orders on all other upcoming “On Yore Side” items!
