Frog Fables
Hey Guys!
You have got to see this:

Now on to my blog:
I like free or cheap short stories on the good ol’ net to sometimes print and read to the kids for bedtime; especially when Alden has a friend over and he wouldn’t have know the background of the chapter book we’re reading.
And of course I’m a fan of good ol’ frog tales with a moral at the end, or else I wouldn’t have written one!
So I just wanted to share with you a few good ones that are on the ‘net for free. Fables are abit short for bedtime story; I generally find that I have to read them three or four. But one good thing about shorts like Aesop’s Fables is that you can embellish upon them as you like, adding your own sentence every other sentence and maybe even personalizing it for your child.
The Hares and the Frogs:

The Frogs Desiring a King

The Frogs and the Well

Now, I warned you those were short! Nice messages though. These come from the following site where there are plenty more fables about other animals besides frogs:

And if you’re looking for something a little longer, may I suggest my own novel of a bedtime story, The Other Side of Yore!
The first chapter is free at the link below, so you can print it out and test it! If you just click the link below, hit the print key, and read it to your kids tonight, you’ll be able to decide whether to download the entire book on PDF or order the print version!
Hope you enjoy it!
May your hops be ever long and high!
